To decrease the number of homeless animals that are euthanized, therefore increasing the percentage of animals lives "saved" in our City Shelter.
To improve the living conditions and health of the homeless cats and dogs in our City Shelter that are awaiting new homes.
To create a positive community atmosphere for Maumelle citizens and their pets.

25% of dogs at shelters are purebred!
Little Rock Animal Services euthanized 3,375 animals in 2001. That's 9 per day or 71% of all animals that came into the shelter!
1 female cat and her offspring can produce 420,000 kittens in a 7-year period! Nationwide as many as 17 million dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens are EUTHANIZED YEARLY! ONE EVERY TWO SECONDS!
