Our Mission

To decrease the number of homeless animals that are euthanized, therefore increasing the percentage of animals lives “saved” in our City Shelter.

To improve the living conditions and health of the homeless cats and dogs in our City Shelter that are awaiting new homes.

'Chilly Willie' was a very sweet and sociable stray cat, who at first, did not want to go to a foster home! He was perfectly happy living outside a large hospital where he had many admirers who would feed him and play with him.

I simply don't believe how hard-hearted some people can be......this sweet dog is about 9 years old, graying around the head, with gray eyelashes and the owners brought her to the shelter because they are moving! After 9 years! She is more than a little confused by all this as is her lifelong friend Daisy who was also surrendered. Don't you have room in your heart and home to make Katie's senior years comfortable and happy? She and Daisy were both quick to sit for a treat so they are not without manners.
