Our Mission

To decrease the number of homeless animals that are euthanized, therefore increasing the percentage of animals lives "saved" in our City Shelter.

To improve the living conditions and health of the homeless cats and dogs in our City Shelter that are awaiting new homes.

To create a positive community atmosphere for Maumelle citizens and their pets.

  

This is an adoption questionnaire- it is NOT - an agreement to adopt a cat. A phone interview, vet reference check, and a home check if applicable will follow in most cases. When you and the right cat find each other, an adoption contract will need to be signed.

We are all volunteers - not paid employees - who spend countless hours helping homeless animals find loving homes. Our animals are brought up-to-date on vaccines and spayed/neutered (except in rare cases when age or health makes that impossible) prior to adoption. At the time of adoption there is a requested donation of $75.00. IT IS IMPORTANT TO US THAT OUR CATS ARE PLACED IN NEW HOMES WHERE THEY HAVE EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO SUCCEED AND LIVE WELL INTO OLD AGE.

The information submitted on this application is confidential and will be used only for the purpose of matching rescued animals with new owners. If you wish, you may expand on your answers in the comments section at the bottom of the form.

I certify that the information provided on this form is true and correct. I am also financially and physically able to care for this animal. I understand that proper food and veterinarian care can be costly and I am able to meet these requirements. Home checks are made on a random basis following or prior to adoption. If upon inspection we find that information contained in this application to be false, we retain the right to turn down or remove the animal from your premises without a refund of monies paid.
