Our Mission

To decrease the number of homeless animals that are euthanized, therefore increasing the percentage of animals lives “saved” in our City Shelter.

To improve the living conditions and health of the homeless cats and dogs in our City Shelter that are awaiting new homes.

To create a positive community atmosphere for Maumelle citizens and their pets.

'Chilly Willie' was a very sweet and sociable stray cat, who at first, did not want to go to a foster home! He was perfectly happy living outside a large hospital where he had many admirers who would feed him and play with him.

Darby had been tied to a tree and was very skinny and in bad shape. The owners abandoned him before a kind Samaritan rescued him and successfully treated him for heartworms! He is current on his shots and has been neutered.
